Built by practitioners, for operations teams
Norse Wave Technologies is an operator-led firm built for teams that need working systems, not more demos. We start with the workflow, the operating constraints, and the real cost of failure.
Why we built Norse Wave Technologies
“Norse Wave Technologies exists to close the gap between AI interest and what actually works after launch. We help companies decide what should be automated, what genuinely needs AI, and what should stay human.”
The market is saturated with AI consultants who can show you a demo, build a pilot, and bill you for six months without shipping anything your team can actually run. That’s not a technology problem. It’s a prioritization and implementation judgment problem.
We built Norse Wave Technologies around a simple operating principle: start with the workflow, not the technology. That means being explicit about when deterministic automation is enough, when AI is justified, and what governance is required before any system should be trusted in production.
Practical implementation over hype
The AI industry is full of demonstrations and proofs of concept that never make it to production. Norsewave's entire thesis is that implementation judgment — knowing what to build, how to build it, and what to leave alone — is the scarce resource. Not technology.
Operating realism
We've all worked in or alongside operations-heavy companies. We understand that workflows are messy, people are busy, data is imperfect, and change is hard. Our implementations reflect that reality — they're designed to work in the real world, not the ideal world.
Automation where enough, AI where justified
We are not advocates for AI in every situation. Most operational problems are better solved with deterministic automation than with AI. When AI is the right answer, it needs governance infrastructure to be worth deploying. We're pragmatic about both tools.
Senior technical leadership, direct accountability

Brian Gardner
Founder
Brian Gardner founded Norse Wave Technologies after years of watching companies spend real money on automation and AI efforts that never made it into production. With a background in Azure, DevOps, and full-stack engineering, he brings a practical bias toward systems that can be maintained, governed, and operated by real teams after launch. He leads discovery, shapes recommendations, and stays directly accountable for whether the work holds up beyond the initial build.
Norse Wave Technologies is structured to stay close to the work: direct discovery, explicit scoping, documented delivery, and clear accountability for what gets recommended and what gets shipped.
What we’re not
The market has no shortage of people who can build something with AI. We want to be clear about how Norsewave is different.
Our work is grounded in senior technical delivery across Azure, DevOps, full-stack systems, and production automation. We ship systems that hold up in the real world.
We are agnostic about which tool solves the problem. We will tell you when automation is enough and when AI is not warranted.
We build things that run in your operation. Not proofs of concept that require three months of engineering to productionize after we leave.
You work directly with the people accountable for scope, recommendations, and delivery quality. We do not hide behind layered account management.
